A celebration of Grace Sewell's life

SEWELL, Grace

Grace passed away peacefully and surrounded by love at Grahamston House Care Home on Saturday 16th March aged 98 years. A beloved wife to the late Les, loving mum to Tom and the late Elizabeth, mother-in-law to Della and Gordon, a doting grandmother to Sarah and Andy and great-grandmother to Sam.  Also a loving sister and dear friend.

To her family, Grace will always be remembered as a loving mother and adored grandmother. Love was infused in everything she did and she will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all. With her passing Grace leaves behind a legacy of love and strength which will be remembered and cherished by everyone who had the privilege of sharing her life.

A service of celebration for the life of Grace will take place in Falkirk Crematorium on Monday 15th April at 1:45 pm.

Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Donations, if so, desired can be made in memory of Grace for Dementia UK and can be left at the service or donated personally through Grace’s memorial link above.

Friends and loved ones are invited to contribute to Grace’s memorial page by sharing fond memories and photographs of Grace, lighting a memorial candle and leaving a message for her family to keep and take comfort from following her service day.

“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.

I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;

Of happy memories that I leave when life is done”.
